Ambitious, exuberant, and dynamic, it’s her: Irene Grandi. She comes back to the international scene with her new album, “Grandissimo”, and her new tour.
Her style has come across several genres from rap and pop to soul and jazz, but the warm and rock voice of Irene Grandi always remains indistinguishable. Throughout her career, she has published more than thirteen albums and attended more than twenty tours, and in this new occasion we have the pleasure to listen to it in a version that sees the singer artistically more aware and mature.
This last album represents a tribute to her 25-year career in the musical and artistic landscape. In this debut several artists have been invited to collaborate and participate, from song writing to featuring, nothing less than Loredana Berté, Fiorella Mannoia, Stefano Bollani, Levante, Carmen Consoli and Sananda Maitreya.
This is not a surprise, let’s not forget that since she was a young and emerging artist, she was already collaborating with the ‘big names’ of the italian music landscape, from Eros Ramazzotti, Jovanotti, to Pino Daniele and Vasco Rossi.
Her talent has brought her to the Sanremo Music Festival four times, gaining the podium in 2000 with her song “La Tua Ragazza Sempre”, written in collaboration with Vasco Rossi.
